Overview

Lesson Studio ("we", "our", or "us") is a studio management app for private music teachers. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

• Account information: Email address and display name when you register.
• Practice logs: Duration, instrument, and notes entered by students.
• Messages: In-app messages between teachers and students.
• Usage data: General app usage to improve the product. No advertising identifiers are used.

How We Use Your Data

• To operate and provide the Lesson Studio service.
• To send practice reminder emails (students may opt out at any time).
• To improve app features and fix bugs.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

Data Storage

Data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.

Children's Privacy

Lesson Studio may be used by students under 13 with a teacher account. We do not knowingly collect data from children independently — all student accounts are created through a teacher-issued invite code. Parents may request deletion of their child's data at any time.

Your Rights

• You may request access to your data at any time.
• You may request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• You may opt out of practice reminder emails by contacting us.
